Designed as a small and portable system, Document Cameras are a very good, cost effective way
of presenting objects, images, text and in some instances, sending video e-mails.
A number of systems, offer the facility to easily capture video and edit or add special effects.
Used in conjunction with interactive presentation systems, they can enhance any teaching,
training or general presentation session.
However, with the current technology, there is now seen to be a 'grey area' or overlap between
systems termed 'Document Cameras' and those termed '
Visualisers'. In effect, they perform the
same functions and most have many of the same features.
