A number of projector systems have the ability to be networked. 
This means that certain  functions for a number of systems can be  controlled from a 
single point such as security  rooms. 
The projectors can be switched on and off, be programmed to send back  information 
such as lamp life or even security features such as if they are removed to flag  up a  warning.
