Samsung MagicInfo

The Samsung MagicInfo system is an excellent ‘all-in-one’ system ideal for digital signage solutions.

Samsung have a wide range of screen variations, the majority of which also have an 'n' variant. These signify the fact that the screen has a built-in Windows XP processor, with the free MagicInfo software thus offering a quick, simple to use and effect digital signage solution with no ‘add-on’ boxes, servers or additional software.

Current screen sizes range from 32" up to an impressive 82" and include systems with touch screen surfaces or built-in TV tuners and also outdoor systems.

For users who have some screens in place and wish to include them within any new MagicInfo network - there is the Samsung Back Box which can be connected to any screen and convert it into a MagicInfo signage system.

Finally, the Samsung Screens can be converted into excellent video walls either on an ad-hoc basic or via the Samsung ID system.

Features

Easy Content Scheduling:

Just select the files to be displayed, the screen on which it should be displayed and the times at which it should go live. This simple three step process ensures quick and easy scheduling of content.

Remote Device Management:

Scheduling of content can be completed remotely. The device management feature of MagicInfo shows the status of each screen and allows the settings of each display to be managed centrally

User Friendly:

Set-up and management of the system is quick and simple using the intuitive GUI.

Targeted Messaging:

Unlike typical digital signage installations where every display carries the same content, MagicInfo can deliver unique content to each screen allowing for highly targeted communications.

Multiple Content Types:

Compatible with media files, Photo, audio and video) and office files (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and PDF files), MagicInfo delivers whatever the content type.

Scalable:

Each screen connects directly to the network without the need for a dedicated PC or complicated cabling. Hence the only additional cost to expand the system is the screen itself.

Although the current system is designed to work primarily on LAN and WAN systems, Samsung will be launching a new system that will be fully web capable.

However, in conjunction with the SignageLive system which is a simple software upgrade, the Samsung system can be a truly global solution.

CONTROL CENTRE

Basic Overview

System consists of a Samsung UXn / DXn / MXn / CXn TSn LCD screen at each location with MagicInfo software on internal processor. Each screen is connected to the LAN.

Central location has free MagicNet software on the controlling PC. The user can prepare all information, content and schedules and send these to each screen location where they can be stored if required on the screens internal Flash Drive.

Screens can be divided into different areas to allow for different media to be shown and all screens / areas can be set to show different media at the same or different time schedules.
